But then I pray and meditate, and God gives me a couple of my favorite verses:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phillipians 4:6.
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Summertime
Finally.
I truly didn't believe it would ever be here. Winter was tough in these parts, as we endured a lot of snow and frigid degrees up until a few weeks ago. The normally warm tempid Spring kept borrowing brisk damp days from it's cousin season, Autumn. There were a few times when I wondered if Mother Nature was tricked into believing this fall farce and instead of buds, we would see the foilage. . .again.
Low and behold, summer has arrived.
Beach days, barbeques, picnics, lakes and chirping birds. Catching fire-flies and mowing the God forsaken lawn. Sunburn, mosquito bites, tans and sand. Flip flops and high heat.
